70-210mm supertest images: lilies.
Samsung NX20, 70mm, 2m focus, 200ASA, auto WB, Av mode.
I used my big old Slik tripod for this, fully extended so I could look down on the lilies and get most of the blooms
near the plane of focus. This meant I couldn't look through the EVF, even on a step ladder, due to the tilt of the camera
on the macro rail, so I had to focus off the tilting lcd. Focus point was the lower of the two orange and white lily blooms.
The 2m focus distance was determined by
this being the MFD of the kiron made VS1 (in its normal, non macro mode),
although the other lenses could go closer I kept the distance consistent. I chose a cloudy day, bright after rain, for the shots,
it is possible that a degree of movement of the lilies wafting in the afternoon airs could affect specifically
the longest shutter speed f11 shots, in spite of my efforts to fire the shutter at the best moment.
No specific PP of the RAW files, just default +25 contrast and sharpen in LR3 and export.
The NX20's sensor and internal processing results in inherently
noisier images than the K5.
On this occasion I did take an image at f4.5 with the 52A so it's there too.
